people sketch...

I thought I would give those of you who look at my blog something to laugh about.  I haven't sketched people in awhile, so yesterday I decided to sketch from a YouTube video.  These three were sitting at a table giving an interview...I think they look comical. 3B pencil and watercolors in a 5x7 sketchbook.

This is salt & pepper shakers I bought at the end of last Easter.  I'm trying to loosen up more on my brushstrokes...not sure if I accomplished that, but I tried.  4x4 acrylic on panel

I don't really like how this one turned out, but Kris saw it and said she liked it...so for the moment it is safe from the Gesso pile.  6x6 acrylic on panel

I don't like to peel oranges, so I cute them into small pieces...I painted them and then I ate them.  6x6 acrylic on panel

I decided I didn't like the lighter purplish wall, so I darkened it...this is what I love about acrylics...they dry quickly and can be changed easily.
