Sold
Yesterdays flower was a fake one...it was harder to make it look real, so today, I bought some fresh ones. I like these better.  6x6 acrylic on panel

#8 grays

White is not really white...it's shades of gray...I have been experimenting with grays the past few days. The flower is terrible, but I am pleased with the mug.  6x6 acrylic on panel

#6 polish

I decided that I wanted to paint something different, so I went upstairs and rummaged around in my daughters (she's away at college...6 more weeks til she graduates...yay) bathroom and came up with all kinds of things to paint.  She has so many bottles of old nail polish.  5x5 acrylic

#5 upside down...

I painted this sheep from an upside down photo...this is my first sheep to ever paint.  I saw this exercise on an artist blog...here.  She taught it in one of her classes.  I kept it simple and left out all the details. 6x6 acrylic

#4 apple

I only allowed myself 20 minutes to paint this apple...I'm trying to loosen up...just laying down one color spot next to another.  There are things that I would change, but I'm not going too...it's just a quick study.  6x6 acrylic on panel

#2 flower on sill

I've definitely decided that scanning my paintings is better than taking a photo.  The flower from yesterday was taken with my camera...no matter what I did, I couldn't get a really good likeness.  I scanned this flower today.  5x5 acrylic on 300lb  wc paper
